Jan

I am not trying to describe Jan’s life here, but just to bring into this website some photos I have of her.

I first met Jan and Don in Castelldefels near Barcelona when Valerie had fled the Biafran War in Nigeria in 1967. This is my earliest photo of when she was six and we were living at La Raconada.

 

I have kept a note she sent me which I of course acted upon and  never regretted it

Jan had two marriages and unfortunately, she lost both her husbands.

I gave her away to Martin in Surbiton

She came to Spain a number of times. In 2003 with her Children, in 2011 when she travelled to Albarracin and Cuenca with us, in 2015, and here she is with Charlie in Spain in 2017. also in the UK and Canada. Then another trip to Spain in 2024
