Jo and I stayed in the hotel Relais d’Orsa, as recommended by our lawyer, Maria. At the time this was located on Montjuic, a hill which overlooks the city, but now it appears to have moved down to the town.
We have a brochure of the hotel as it was then and it looked like this

Hotel Relais d’Orsa
To travel to the city we used the cable car from Montjuic.
We did not make a note of all the places we went to on this trip, many of these I had visited forty years ago when I worked in Barcelona for two years in the mid 1960’s. The Paseo de Gracia, the Ramblas and so much more which brought back so many good memories
Although we didn’t list all the things we did we did take some photos
In Parc Guell – architect Antonio Gaudi
Some street entertainers in Las Ramblas
and the Sagrada Familia
Casa Mila by Gaudi
La Pedera
We went on the cable car from the Olympic Village down to the harbour
and of course the wonderful market
There was so much we saw and did and we would return five years later.
We have a proper book of the wonders of Barcelona, a street map and a few brochures in the file.
