Jo – Homes

The Walsh family house in Penmaenmawr North Wales

My first home I remember was as a child living in Wales due to my mother’s health

My parents whilst I remained at boarding school in Wales moved back to Hyde in Cheshire

Hyde

Later they moved to Woodley Cheshire where my mother designed a bungalow and I remained there until I left home at seventeen.

Woodley Cheshire

I then lived in various flats  – High Street Kensington,Nottinghill Gate and West Kensington where I met Tom and then moved with him to Castlenau Barnes renting a large room in the house of one of the RCA teachers.  When we married we moved to the borders of Richmond (unfortunately no picture) and then to Heathcote Road Twickenham where I had the boys

The family then moved to St. Peters Road Twickenham which was a great house overlooking the river Thames

For financial reasons and to enable my mum to have her own part of the house we moved to East Molesey

60 Palace Road East Molesey

As my mother had met Gerry we then moved to a smaller property in the same road which we modernised.  At the same time we bought a house in Port Andraitx Mallorca

40 Palace Road East Molesey

and my boat there – Riva speedboat

From 40 Palace Road we made one further move  We  also sold the house in Mallorca and bought a plot of land intending to build our own house but unfortunately we divorced before this happened and I subsequently sold the land

Following my divorce I bought a house round the corner in Grove Road
