The first place I remember was our house in Wales which we moved to when I was around six or seven years old because of my mother’s health.
I went to school daily in Llandudno.
Eventually, as my mother’s health improved, they went back to Hyde in the North because my father found travelling from Wales to Manchester daily was too tiring.
I stayed on at boarding school going back to their new house in Hyde for holidays.
When I left school, I lived with my parents in a bungalow in Woodley that my mother had designed and built.
From Woodley, I left home and moved to London, where I lived in various rented flats and houses.
As you have asked about my homes I thought I would add also the homes I have lived since becoming an adult and you can find these on my Homes page
The main two houses I remember well were in St. Margarets Twickenham, where my two sons, Luke & David, grew up. One was on the river Thames.
My next two houses were in Hampton Court with my first husband.
Finally, after my divorce, I moved to a lovely end-of-terrace house in the same area before marrying your Grandpa
Tony and moving to Spain. We bought a lovely finca in Jesus Pobre and lived there for about eighteen years before we moved to our flat in the port of Javea which is where I am writing this.
