I had a lovely labrador dog in Wales called Lassie, but unfortunately, another dog took him up the mountains killing sheep, and we had to have him put to sleep.
When I came home from school, I had a King Charles Spaniel called Charlie, who was a lovely, gentle dog.
When I left home, my mother kept him.
While I’m talking of pets I must mention my pets as an adult
.When I was married to my first husband I had two Burmese Cats, Serendipity and Maisie, who moved with me when I got divorced.
Sadly, only one was alive when I moved to Spain with Tony, and he was killed on the road a little later.
After the death of Tony’s mum her dog Chester moved to live with us until he died.
After a couple of years and missing not having a dog we went on holiday to Huesca in Almeria and a little dog came into our Cave House and said “Here I am your new dog” We named him Angel after the owner of the cave house and he is happily still with us today.
